The Foundation accepts restricted donations for specific schools and programs and unrestricted funds to further the organization mission. Donations come in the form of cash, property, bequests, memorial contributions and in kind donations (goods and services). Planned giving arrangements such as bequests, trusts and annuities are deferred gifts which can result in substantial tax savings and require the assistance of a qualified professional advisor to complete.”

The Kane Schools Foundation, as of June 2007, is a registered nonprofit on MissionFish, a charitable partner of eBay, which helps nonprofits raise money through online auctions.
The MissionFish database lists certified, 501(C)(3) nonprofit organizations in good standing. It allows eBay sellers to donate a portion of their auction proceeds to the nonprofit of their choice. The Foundation has its own nonprofit page on MissionFish, where its logo and mission are displayed and auction items will be listed for sale. The eBay Giving Works charity ribbon icon marks the auction items on eBay, so that buyers know they are supporting a good cause.
So, consider becoming an eBay seller, clean out your closets and benefit the kids of Kane County through MissionFish and the Kane Schools Foundation for Students. For more details, click on the MissionFish link to access our Missionfish nonprofit page, or go to our eBay About Me page by typing the user ID “kanesf4kids” in the community section of eBay.
